CHORAL ADJUDICATOR

MARY LOUISE BURKE – Denver, Colorado, USA
Originally from Edmonton, Mary Louise Burke now lives in Denver, Colorado and is the Associate Director of the acclaimed Colorado Children’s Chorale, conducting the Concert Choir and serving as the Chorale’s vocal coach.


CHORAL SPEECH and SOLO SPEECH ADJUDICATOR

WILL SENGATTO – Vancouver, BC
Will Sengotta holds a Bachelor of Arts (History) from Simon Fraser University, an ARCT (Speech and Drama) from The Royal Conservatory of Music and an ATCL (Speech and Drama) from Trinity College London. Will is the managing partner in the largest Speech and Drama studio in Vancouver, the Bolton Academy of Spoken Arts.


CREATIVE MUSIC ADJUDICATOR

DAVID CLENMAN – Victoria, BC
David resides in Victoria, British Columbia, where he is an award-winning teacher of music theory at the University of Victoria and a teacher of theory and composition at the Victoria Conservatory of Music.

CLASSIC GUITAR ADJUDICATOR

MICHAEL PARTINGTON Seattle, WA. USA
Michael Partington is one of the most engaging of the new generation of concert players. Praised by Classical Guitar Magazine for his “lyricism, intensity and clear technical command,” this award-winning British guitarist has performed internationally as a soloist and with ensemble to unanimous critical praise.


INSTRUMENTAL (BRASS, WOODWIND) ADJUDICATOR

RICHARD RAUM – Regina, Saskatchewan
Is currently principal trombonist with the Regina Symphony Orchestra. Professor Raum is a full Professor at the University of Regina and teaches Music Theory, Analysis, Music Appreciation (including Distance Learning through SCN), Trombone, Euphonium, and coaches brass chamber music. He is also currently Chair of the International Tronbone Association’s Research Council.


MUSICAL THEATRE ADJUDICATOR

SUSAN EICHHORN – New York, New York, USA
Currently, Susan maintains a thriving freelance studio in New York City while continuing to offer intensive teaching sessions in Canada. She is also on the voice faculty of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts - CAP21.

PIANO ADJUDICATOR

GREG CAISLEY – Vancouver, BC
Well known adjudicator, clinician, and performer Dr. Greg Caisley has worked throughout western Canada over the past fifteen years. Greg concertizes, teaches and coaches young musicians from Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.


STRING, CHAMBER, CELLO and DOUBLE BASS ADJUDICATOR

PAUL MARLEYN – Ottawa, Ontario
Mr. Marleyn is a  Professor of Cello at the University of Ottawa  and is a cellist with a broad and eclectic repertoire that ranges from the Baroque period to the twentieth century, from the Gabrielli Ricercar to the Romantic concerto, and from the Metallica song to the Irish reel. Anglo-Canadian Mr. Marleyn tours regularly in Canada and has given numerous performances in the United States, Europe and Asia.



STRING, VIOLIN and VIOLA ADJUDICATOR

SYLVIA LANGE – KELOWNA, BC
In addition to teaching privately, Sylvia was a faculty member of Seneca College where she taught violin, viola, and coached chamber music. She was honored to have been invited to teach, conduct and perform at the Lilienfeld Accademy in Austria. She presently resides in Kelowna.



VOICE ADJUDICATOR

JOANNE HOUNSELL – Victoria, BC
Joanne Hounsell is an inspirational voice teacher and performer. She is the Head of Voice at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, and has been a member of the voice faculty of the University of Lethbridge and the University of Victoria.
